About

Teressa L. Jackson, MPA, CFRE, CFRM
Promoter in Chief

Since 2001, I have helped connect countless fans and millions of dollars in funds with not-for-profit organizations of all types and sizes. This work has brought me personal fulfillment, countless smiles, an array of amazing friends and colleagues, inspiring moments, and one of the most motivating creative outlets I could fathom. It has taught me and brought me far more than I could ever find a way to repay.

All my life, three passions have shaped who I am: the creative arts, traveling, and the desire to help others. In 2016, in an effort to spend more time on those first two passions, I made the decision to depart from my full-time career and embark on a new, more flexible adventure. I am currently working as a fine artist (watercolor painter) and providing contract writing and design services as my schedule allows.

In addition to a variety of professional training and experience, I hold a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Public Policy and Administration from the University of Louisville, am actively credentialed as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and was awarded a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. I was deeply honored to be awarded the James W. Robinson Young Professional of the Year ACE Award by One Southern Indiana in 2015, selected as a 2013 "Twenty Under 40" Honoree by The News & Tribune newspaper, and named Floyd County's Emerging Woman Philanthropist in 2011 by Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. A complete list of my professional experience, achievements, honors, and awards is available on my LinkedIn profile.
