These ancient, brainless invertebrates are comprised of around 98% water; lack bones, blood, and hearts; use a simple nerve net for sensing; can be bioluminescent; and one species is even considered to be biologically immortal. They drift as zooplankton, pulsing their bells for movement, and have existed for over 500 million years, spanning from dinosaurs to today.

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion hot pressed Stonehenge Black watercolor paper and measures 3×2". It comes in a signed mat and frame that bring the overall size of the piece to 4.75x3.75”. It ships free.
