The Soberantes Canyon Trail at Garrapata State Park takes you through a variety of landscapes. You begin in desert-like scenery studded with prickly pear cactus, and then find yourself in a redwood forest, traversing a babbling creek among giant trees. This baby redwood was taking full advantage of its little gap in the tree cover the day that I was on the trail.

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion hot pressed Stonehenge Black watercolor paper and measures 2×3". It comes in a signed mat and frame that bring the overall size of the piece to 3.75x4.75”. It ships free.
