I haven’t painted many sunsets in recent years, although they used to be a pretty regular thing for me. I’m enjoying changing that up and indulging in the transformed colors and tones that come with golden hour and beyond. This scene captures the fading light along the rocky coastline at Crystal Cove, the light dancing across and through the water.

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion Stonehenge Black hot press watercolor paper and measures 2×3". It comes in a signed mat and frame that brings the overall size of the piece to 3.75x4.75”. It ships free.
