I was hiking at Garland Ranch in Carmel Valley and this scene captivated me. The way the live oak tree spread its branches and the sunlight filtered down, the ferns at its feet, the paths leading you on to more discoveries… into the trees I must go!

This original painting was created with gouache paint on 300 lb. Legion cold pressed Stonehenge Black watercolor paper and measures 6×30". It comes in a square brushed metal black custom frame and white mat the brings the overall size to 12 7/16" x 36 3/16". It ships free.
