One Saturday, we made the journey to Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur. The drive from Highway 1 to the beach winds around and down through a forested area, and the beach is lovely, with beautiful rock formations and sand that is streaked with pink by little flecks of garnet. I loved the contrast of Keyhole Arch against the dramatic sky and sand, so a tiny rendition of the scene seemed to be in order.

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion hot pressed Stonehenge Black watercolor paper and measures 2×3". It comes in a signed mat and frame that bring the overall size of the piece to 3.75×4.75”. It ships free.
