I love the way the spines on the saguaros catch the light and twinkle. The scene is especially beautiful in the morning, when the light is softer and warmer and the shadows are more plentiful and varied. Hiking Sabino Canyon last Saturday morning, the sparkle was plentiful and so was the beauty that is this place.

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion hot pressed Stonehenge Black watercolor paper and measures 3×2". It comes in a signed mat and frame that bring the overall size of the piece to 4.75x3.75”. It ships free.
