I created this piece with graphite pencil on drawing paper in the weekly drawing course I participate in at Tucson’s Northwest Art Center. The subject was a piece of fetish pottery - my instructor seems to have a never ending supply of “weird still life items”! :-)

I’ve never really enjoyed drawing, so I decided to take the class to challenge myself. I’m pleased to say that the three hours I spend in this class each week fly right by, and I have made continued progress.

It measures 14”x17” and is sold unframed.
